Heroes’ Nathan Petrelli to Return?

June 8, 2007One major cliffhanger in the Heroes season one finale was the fate of Nathan. We know he crossed over to the good side and saved New York from destruction by flying his nuclear brother Peter into the atmosphere, but we also know that he isn’t indestructible. Fans all over speculated on ways that Nathan could live or die as a result of his heroic act. At a recent event to promote Heroes fans got the answer to at least one part of the puzzle. Don’t read any further if you don’t want to be spoiled.

Heroes stars Masi Oka and Adrian Pasdar were in Canada at an event to promote Heroes’ Canadian network Global’s fall schedule. First, the presence of Pasdar alone should be enough to convince anyone that he will be present and accounted for in season two of Heroes. If his contract were up, Pasdar would no doubt have better things to do. But the insinuations do not end there. Later, Pasdar commented on what he thought of the story for season two, and his words are full of affirmation for Nathan’s safe return.

“I feel good about the direction it’s heading in, I think it’s across the boards surprising for each character and for each audience member, whoever their favorite character is. It takes a wildly different arc then you might think. Season Two is going to be a big surprise.”

Adrian is currently making a movie called HOME MOVIE. He is wearing a beard for it. It will be out next year.
