After nine months of having a great time with his son, Slade, Adrian Pasdar has been doing some TV work. His latest project is a part in a film called “Secondhand Lions”. The film features Robert Duvall, Michael Caine, Haley Joel Osmet and Kira Sedwick. Filming begins the end of September and the best news is that the filming location is Austin, Texas where Adrian lives!
Adrian’s other TV work includes the Lifetime channel’s “Crossing the Line” movie, Discovery Channel’s Shark Week and the UPN’s new Twilight Zone, which can be seen 9/25 @ 9pm ET.
New York State Of Mind

We’ve got a new story/interview with Adrian over on the Quotes page where he talks about, among other things, apartment hunting, the demise of Mysterious Ways and baby Slade’s genetic influences.
Here’s a little taste, regarding Adrian’s upcoming movie: “He [director Graeme Clifford] called me,” Pasdar recalls, “and I said, “I’m not inclined to do a Lifetime movie.” And he said, “Neither am I, but we go where the work is. It’s a good story. I want to work with you.” And I said, “I’ve always loved your stuff.” Once we got that out of the way, patted each other on the back, it was fun.”

Goodbye Mysterious Ways, Hello New Work

It is with great sadness that I announce that the Mysterious Ways TV show has been canceled. It is always sad to lose a friend and the show and cast has become that. Adrian was happy that at least the show went out on top.
Adrian has just finished filming a show called Crossing the Line. It for Lifetime cable network. It will air on Sunday, July 14th. The show is the story of how some parents can be over-bearing in regard to their children’s participation in sporting activities, and what happens as a result.

Slade Pasdar Celebrates 1st Birthday
Posted by Sharon Hulton :: Friday, March 15th, 2002 -- 8:17 am
Happy 1st birthday to Adrian and Natalie Maines Pasdars son. Jackson SLADE Pasdar was born on March 15th at 9:57 am at Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas. He only weighed 6 lbs and was 20 inches long.
Today hes beautiful with blondhair and his Dads stunning amber/brown eyes. Recently Natalie has stated that their son iss “Cute as can be,” and that “Parenthood is wonderful. Everyone should try it. [Slade] used to hate the car. Not even music would make him stop screaming. When our [Dixie Chicks singing group] music would come on, hed scream even louder!”
When Maines appeared on SESAME STREET [repeat showing is 5/6 and 5/9/02], Slade “Got to meet Elmo and Big Bird, and I got his picture taken in Oscars can.” Natalie notes that the boy is, so far, immune to the trappings of show business. “He really had no clue.”
Happy Birthday, Slade!
